Chanan Tej Kaur (Kasia)
BA(Hons), BSc(Hons), PgCert, PgDip
Buddhist Counsellor
Coming from a background in psychology and mental health, I trained in Buddhist counselling and psychotherapy. My work integrates both Western and Buddhist psychological approaches and is grounded in Buddhist models of the mind as well as in creating the conditions for change. I am also influenced by person-centred approach to counselling, mindfulness, compassion and interconnectedness.
My clients are always supported to explore their worlds, and to make the change they would like to see. They also learn how to engage fully and deeply with their life. I assist my clients in the journey towards finding fresh ways to relate to events and to understand how old habits and anxieties hold them back from seeing the resources that are available.
